For the big carnival show in Gulpen, the ‘Groeëte Gulpener Vastelaoves Finale’, Hoedemakers.PRO was asked for technical support. They turned to Matrix Event Support, whose LD Fenno Franzen designed the light show using Showtec and Infinity fixtures to make a big impact on the partying crowd.

We look back on a successful participation in Prolight+Sound 2024, where we showcased our latest innovations in two dazzling shows and celebrated 30 years of Highlite with visitors. The event was a great success and visitors were very enthusiastic about our exciting new products.

Carnival is annual event that is celebrated passionately in many places throughout the world. That includes Brunssum in the Netherlands where the Brikke Oave venue was so enthusiastic that it hosted the sold-out Carnavalradio Limburgse Aovendj event 2 weeks before traditional carnival. To ensure the right atmosphere, Heijnens Audio-Light-Vision enlisted Matrix Event Support to design the lighting and visuals, as well as take care of the programming and operation.

Carnival is a Christian festive season that is celebrated in various forms throughout many parts of the world. In the Netherlands, the celebrations mainly take place in the Dutch provinces of North Brabant and Limburg. This includes the city of Roermond, where a stage was built in the main square outside the train station for this year's event. Demo Productions added spectacular lighting by Showtec and Infinity, so that everyone who attended could see the many performances.

As part of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), electronic music fans partied the day away at the combined Dockyard Festival x Mystic Garden Festival ADE 2023 in the Havenpark in Amsterdam on Saturday 21st October. Think! AV supplied and set up lighting equipment for several of the areas at the festivals with the company's Niels de Feij managing the light project. He also created the light design along with YES! Your Event Support's Itai Joosten who also worked as the technical producer.

FLEXibility takes centre stage with the new Showtec Stage Blinder FLEX Blaze, an innovative addition to the world of lighting that is set to change the way we experience blinder effects. With its original design and versatile features, this lighting fixture promises to bring innovative possibilities to lighting professionals and enthusiasts.

The ArtEZ University of Arts in Zwolle has a completely new lighting installation, beautifully designed and implemented by Inspiration Productions. The Department of Design, Music, Architecture and Art Education now has an upgraded and contemporary exhibition hall where students can show off their hard work.

After suffering fire damage last year, Bowlo Bowling & Lounge in Kerkrade, the Netherlands, has shifted gears and taken its customer experience to a whole new level. In a magnificent renovation they have transformed the bowling alley and surrounding facilities into a modern leisure area with a breathtaking level of style and ambience, using products from Showtec, Infinity, DAP and Showgear.

Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen, the Netherlands first opened its gates to the public on 18th June 1932. Today, it’s a modern zoo that has a strong focus on the conservation of animals and nature and aims to educate visitors about these important topics. Recently, the audiovisual installation at the sea lion theatre underwent a major redevelopment with STS Productions, specialists in light, sound and image, playing a major role, along with Lightworx.

The Wish Outdoor festival in Beek & Donk, the Netherlands, blends pop, hardstyle, urban, live, and techno beats into a three-day extravaganza. To bring an unforgettable atmosphere to the Nachtcollege stage, the lighting designer relied on products from Infinity and Showtec to create the desired effects.
